Andy Horton served a Spanish-speaking mission to San Bernardino, California. Soon after, he married the former Stephanie Gillespie. He says, "when Stephanie married me in 1992, it was absolutely the kindest thing anyone had ever done for me." Andy and Stephanie have 6 children, three of which have married and introduced 6 grandkids into the family—the greatest thing ever!!!  Bro. Horton taught seminary for 12 years, then he spent 8 years at the Church Office Building where he helped produce films for the Church. He has been a part of the seminary/institute program for nearly 30 years and has loved being at the Utah Valley Institute for the last few years. He loves audiobooks while woodworking, watching movies, and homemade salsa. We try to keep the gospel in the center, as what matters most, which has provided us the perfect perspective as challenges and blessings have come our way. We love serving in the church, and he especially loves kissing his wife right on the lips.
