I was born in New Jersey, and then moved to Utah and raised in the town of Moroni. I attended North Sanpete High School, where I met in a speedwriting class a young lady named Daina Arnoldson.  She graduated from high school a year prior so there were attempts during my Senior year to impress Daina with Dutch Oven cobblers that were randomly brought to Snow College.

A mission to Guatemala followed high school where many difficult and instructive lessons were learned.  A love for the gospel of Jesus Christ developed along with a love of teaching that gospel to others.   Upon returning from Guatemala a year was spent at Snow College, then a transfer to Utah State University.  A marriage to Daina Arnoldson occurred in the Manti temple in May of 1999.  Since that time 4 beautiful children have joined the family.

I decided to pursue a teaching profession in the Seminaries and Institutes program with the encouragement, aid, love and support of my wife.  That career began in August of 1999 in Brigham City Jr High.  Since that time, I have taught in a variety of locations and have loved the opportunity to help students understand the gospel of Jesus Christ and draw closer to Him.

There have been other opportunities to learn while serving in a variety of church assignments, but through it all one of the things that I desire most to be known as is:  a true disciple of Jesus Christ.
