Michael Beckstrand was raised in Orem Utah and is married to Kimberly Beckstrand. They have 7 children and live in Salem UT. He graduated from BYU in International Relations and earned a master’s in education, curriculum and instruction. He has taught seminary for the past 16 years in the Salt Lake and Utah Valleys and started teaching institute in 2015 and loves it. He enjoys coaching his kids sports teams, spending time with his family, working in the yard, and has been known for enjoying a good cheese burger at least once a week.
