Reyna is an Institute instructor and a Spanish coordinator. She was born in Nicaragua and moved to the United States at the age of 21. She worked as a translator for more than 30 years before joining the UVIR faculty. She studied Industrial Engineering in Nicaragua and earned an associate degree in Computer Science from UVU. She is currently getting a bachelor’s degree in Family and Human Services from BYU Pathway Worldwide.
She was the Second Counselor on the General Relief Society Presidency from 2017 to 2022 and a member of the Primary General Board before that.
Reyna and her husband Carlos have three children and three grandchildren.
She enjoys spending time with her family, making new friends, and forging meaningful connections with the rising generation.
